In search of Santa...

Let me preface this post with, Sam is 4 and refuses to have his picture taken.  He runs away, hides, and ends up a blur in all pictures except the ones posted.  Apparently he doesn't want to remember the year of 4.  :)

Today we went in search of Santa at the Breton Village Mall with Grandpa.  Unfortunately he wasn't there (it was his day off and he was feeding the reindeer) but the train was!!!  Each year the mall puts up a humongous train exhibit that Sam can sit and watch for hours.  This year they even added a Thomas the Train steam engine, so it was twice as exciting!

Adri spent her time coaxing the fish to her and allowing me to pose her for pictures.  She, unlike Sam, wants to remember the year of 6.

One more week and we have Christmas Break for two weeks!!!

Here are a few of our pictures from today...

An attempt at a picture with Grandpa...Yep, they all look like this!!!  Sam's face is a blur!

Adri shows Sam Man how to be the fish whisperer.

Trains are for the young and old!!!

Pick me up Grandpa!!!

If I was making Christmas cards this year, this would have been the pose.  Funny, that's exactly what these two are!  Little comedians.

I know that I previously wrote a post about Adri losing her tooth, but I also took photos with my camera (as opposed to my phone).

She was so patient and let this tooth stay in her mouth until it was literally hanging!!!  Uggggh!!!

Sam tried this on at Meijer and had to wear it out.  He was in love with it!  He put it on first thing this morning and wore it all day long!!!

Sammer visits Santa at his school Christmas concert.

Sam Man loves to get under my heated blanket after a bath.  Not sure it gets any cuter than him!!!

Lost tooth!

Adri just lost her first tooth about two minutes ago!  It has been loose for weeks and just dangling for the past couple of days.  I don't know how she built up the courage, but she said she twisted and pulled it out!

The tooth fairy pays five dollars for the FIRST tooth lost...

She is beyond excited and marching around singing a song about losing her very first tooth.  This is a very prideful moment for a 6 year old.  :)
