Museum worthy artwork and selfie fun!

Adri's artwork was chosen to be displayed at the Art Museum downtown.  Out of five entries, she was the only one chosen at her school!!!  Although she doesn't think it's a big deal, it's a humongous achievement for a first grader!!!  Her artwork is absolutely amazing, as is her attention to detail.

After the art reception, we went to Kilwin's for ice cream.  Adri and I had a selfie fest in which we laughed so hard at a couple of them that we were almost crying.  Adri is quite the character when it comes to selfies (and anything else in life).  Bet you can't guess what kind of ice cream she had...

Fun filled February weekend!

An action packed weekend for the kids!  We laid low on Friday but then got an early start to visit Biggby coffee for hot chocolate with friends.  We then went on to look at a house and play at Aberdeen park.
After an attempt at relaxation,  we ended our night at sky zone with a lot of friends,  jumping until they were finally tired out.
On the way home Sam needed to pull over and get sick,  all of that jumping,  obviously!

I am so lucky to have spent the weekend cuddling,  holding hands,  laughing,  tickling and sharing love with these two!

Selfies!

We spent the weekend rollerskating and then we went to Branns with friends.   4 adults and 8 children.   It was an interesting time,  to say the least.   😊

Today we went swimming.   Adri and Sam both put their heads completely under the water!  Adri swam around the pool like a little mermaid,  excited to show off her swimming skills.  Sam found someone who actually allowed him to splash them in the kiddie pool.   On the way home,  Sam was so exhausted that he fell asleep and actually allowed me to carry him into the house,  putting his arms around me.   Another melt my heart moment!
