Adri (in her highest screaming voice): Mommy! Mommy! My tummy do hurt!!!
Me: Where does it hurt?
Adri: My tummy do hurt! It hurts, it hurts, it hurts! Oweeeeeeee! (Uncontrollable sobbing)
Me (panicking at this point thinking it might be her appendix): We're leaving, we're leaving baby. Hang on!
Adri: Owww!!! (at which point she began projectile vomiting all over herself, the cart, the items in the cart, the floor, and the shelves. I have to admit, the girl has great aim!)
I hightailed it to the front of the store to let an employee know that there was ALOT of vomit to clean up in aisle 11. :) Then I wrapped Adri in a large black Meijer bag and carried her out (all the while everyone was staring at us), careful to take another bag to put on her car seat so she wouldn't get vomit all over it. By the time we got home I was covered in vomit, Adri was freezing from me stripping her clothes off her in the car, and I had found out that Matt lost his wedding ring (which has yet to be found). All of this made for a wonderful end to our Sunday. :)
We were lucky enough to get through all of Monday without anyone getting sick (although Adri's new thing is to keep telling everyone she is sick because it gets her extra attention.). Yesterday though, Sam Man began throwing up at dinner and continued until he went to sleep. Poor little baby has never been sick, so he was extremely confused and wanted his Mommy. I felt so bad for him every time he vomited; looking at me with that sad, confused look in his eyes. He woke up this morning happy and ready to face the day though. He was starving and ate an entire large jar of food along with 12 oz of formula, making up for what he missed yesterday.
Last night Matt began complaining that he had a fever and was freezing. Today he is sicker than sick, and stayed in bed the entire day. As the day progressed he has actually gotten worse, so we will see what tomorrow brings. We're hoping that it's the same 24 hour type of bug that both of the kids had and that he will feel better tomorrow (and also that I'm not the next one to get it). :)
And now for our good news! Sam got his helmet today! He did wonderful when the helmet was first put on him, smiling the entire time. When our orthotist brought the helmet back in after specializing it, he put it back on a sleeping Sam man who never woke up the entire time. Surprisingly, Sam doesn't mind it a bit!
Sam will be wearing it intermittently for the first week, beginning today.

Day 7: 23 hours a day and beyond
