Sammy has decided that today is the day to get out of the crib. He's now gotten out twice, once falling out and once climbing gracefully out to go to the door and pound on it, letting us know he still wasn't sleeping.
The past couple of days he's had an extremely hard time going to sleep at night, needing to be held and rocked to sleep. He actually refuses to fall asleep in his crib, hence his crib strike today. I spent the entire afternoon trying to get him to fall asleep in his crib. He spent the entire afternoon screaming at me, letting me know that he absolutely would not fall asleep in his crib. (Adri refused to nap today too--so it was an especially great afternoon.) :)
Matt is in the process of taking the side off of the crib as I write this. Soon, Sammy will have his new big boy bed. Boo to little boys growing up. ;)
This is my attempt to chronicle our family's daily adventures, love, and struggles.
It is my hope that one day Adri and Sammy will read these stories of their childhood and remember the love, happiness, and adoration that was poured into it each and every day. The two of them are the sunshine in my day and the happiness that has completed my life.
