The other night we decided to try rid the kids of some of their energy by bringing them to Huff Park. This park is amazing! It's located on swamp lands in the middle of the city and has a boardwalk throughout. It was amazing to see all the wildlife located in just that little area of woods. We ended up accomplishing our task and tired the kids out for bed. :)
Daddy waits patiently while the kids play on the playground before heading into the park.
Just one of Adri's many silly faces...
Mom! Mom!!! The frogs are this way! Hurry!
C'mon Sam! Give me a hug!!!
No hugs!!!
Sam's on a mission! Frog hunting!
Nothing could possible go wrong here, right?
Sam Man slipped and got dirty...
Bounce, bounce!!!
Sammy's turn!
Our little man...
Adri's hiding something...
Look Mom! I've got a cattail. Get it? Cat tail? :)
C'mon!!! We have to hurry! The frogs are this way!!!
Can you spot the deer?
Adri's still sporting her cattail...
Are we almost done? Hammy tired!
Our next deer sighting...
I'm tired!!! Are we almost done???
How much longer???
I can just see these two as teenagers!!!
This is my attempt to chronicle our family's daily adventures, love, and struggles.
It is my hope that one day Adri and Sammy will read these stories of their childhood and remember the love, happiness, and adoration that was poured into it each and every day. The two of them are the sunshine in my day and the happiness that has completed my life.
