Last week we took a trip to Binder Park Zoo. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather!!! Sunny with low temperatures, exactly what we needed while walking around the zoo.
According to the map, you've found the ant, Adri.
Sam's favorite part of the zoo!!!
Adri's right in her element, petting and hugging animals.
Mom! Mom! Do you see me?
Sam decides to make a slide out of a dinosaur tail...
Going well...
Doing ok...
Oops!
Yet another one of Adri's funny faces.
Where are the giraffes?
Not sure you're supposed to go in here, but Sam just HAD to see what was inside!
Move Adri! It's my turn!!!
Not another picture Mom!!!
We also went to the Kent County 4-H fair in Lowell with Nana. Adri and Sam LOVED seeing and petting all the animals!!!
I'm not sure how many horses this child has rode this summer...
Boo Boo and P-Pa's was a fun place to play this week too. We found a caterpillar and Adri learned how to go across the monkey bars all by herself!!!
Fuzzy, wuzzy, strange looking caterpillar!
Look Mom!
Today we went to Aunt Shannon and Uncle Mart's house to fly our kites and take a walk on the farm.
Wow! Look at that kite!
Daddy! I love you!
We tired Sandy out!
Sam's trouble look!
Yes! Someone has finally contained her! :)
Adri-isms:
Last night Adri decided she didn't want to go to bed. She came out of her room and said she needed a drink, bringing the drink back in her room. The next thing we know, she's coming out of her room telling us she was sleeping and wet the bed. She had decided to bring the drink into her room and pour it on the bed to make it look like she had wet the bed!!! She told us that she thought she would be able to stay up and spend time with us!
The other day Adri and I went over to her friend Tristen's to play. When we came home she told her Daddy that "Mommy dropped me off at Tristen's and went to the store. Tristen and I played outside in the rain and I don't know where his Mommy was." I was there the entire time talking with Tristen's Mom while Adri and he played in his room!!!
Adri's new thing is to also tell everyone that she is going to Kindergarten. If she's recently told you this, don't believe her. She's only 4 year old and it's not even legal for her to go to Kindergarten at that age. We've hit the tall tale stage of her life!!!
Sammy-ism:
Mommy, Agee naughty! I listen Mom! I listen!!!
