Adri's first sleepover and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Last weekend Adri had her first sleepover with Aunt Mary Jo. I thought for sure she would call to come home, I even stayed up waiting for the call, but she didn't! She spent the entire night and had the most fantastic time! She brought home an apple pie that she made by herself as well as exciting stories of all the adventures she had.

My little girl is all grown up now! It's amazing how much she has grown even over these last few months. She has the greatest facial expressions and comes up with the most wonderful of questions such as "Why do you have to eat Daddy? You're not going to grow anymore so you don't need it." and "I'm going to put these M&M's in the ground for Jesus so he can find them and eat them."

Sammer is a whirlwind. That adorable little boy NEVER sits down except when he sleeps. I tried keeping up with him over this Thanksgiving break and all it's gotten me is tired. I don't know how he does it, but he goes and goes. On any given day you can find him with his cars playing and banging them together saying "Boom, Boom!" He's finally begun talking more and says "doggie, sit down, jessica (his teacher's name) all of his classmates names, Mama, Dada, thank you, geesh, and many more. He's an amazing little boy, always with a smile on his face, who loves to entertain anyone around.

Which brings me back around to my thankfulness. Thanksgiving has come and gone already and it's makes me think that I am so thankful for my family. I haven't been able to spend an abundant time with them lately thanks in part to my excessive class load and extensive library time, but I love them dearly and don't know what I would do without them. Thank God for Matt, who keeps it all together when I'm not able to do so right now. He's an amazing father and husband and I wouldn't be able to do this Master's degree thing without him and all of his help.

Thank goodness for our for Matt's and my families too, we love all of you guys and are so thankful for you.
