It has been far too long since I've actually sat down and taken the time to write something. Things have honestly been so busy that it's been hard to find the time to even just relax in between events, things to do, family, and everything else that I definitely haven't made blogging a priority. Perhaps I need to dedicate one day a week to blogging so that I can make sure the copious amount of pictures piling up at least get shared. :)
Our lives have been filled with weekend activities lately, namely Halloween activities. Between the trunk or treats, Boo at the Zoo and actual Halloween; we've been swamped. Add my two Master's classes on top of that plus every day work and you have a recipe for a busy little family.
Last week everyone in our family was down for the count as illness spread through the house. Matt stayed home most of the week and poor little Adri almost missed her Halloween Party. Luckily her fever broke and she was able to participate with her friends at school.
The weather on Halloween was beautiful; cool, but not raining for a change. We started trick or treating early, while it was still light outdoors. Our families came over to visit and see the kids in their Halloween outfits after we had finished our initial trick or treating. After they had left, Grandpa came over to see them and Adri decided to get all dressed and go out for more candy. So, Daddy, Grandpa, and Max went out for another hour or so before Adri decided she had enough candy (which has since been decimated by two candy crazed kids).
We are now gearing up for the snow that's supposed to make our winter a hard one this year. Adri is so excited for it to finally snow and be able to get dressed to play outside in it. This year will be especially exciting for Sammy too, since he'll actually be able to play in the snow instead of sitting there just watching his sister. :) We're hoping Max is up for some sled pulling fun too!!!
I will add another post tonight with all of the photos of the kids. :)
