Suncatcher Sunday, P-Pa's birthday, and exfoliation!

Today has been a fantastic day so far.  We began our morning making sun catchers.  Adri made a puppy and Sam made a race car.  The entire time that Sam was making his he had the idea in his head that he would be giving it to P-Pa for his birthday.  Unfortunately, Mommy is sentimental about firsts and wouldn't let him part with it.  (Another one is in the making for you though, P-Pa!)

Since this morning, Sam has been carrying his finished race car sun catcher all around, very proudly.  I think he's glad that Mommy made him keep it.  :)

Sam put all of the colors in his, very quickly.

Mix it around...

Adri meticulously fills in her puppy.

Sam's all done, time to help Adri.  "I help you, Agee?"

A big fat Happy Birthday to P-Pa!!!  Thank you for letting us share your day with you!!!

Sam and P-Pa have serious things to discuss...

P-Pa's 57th birthday cake!!!

P-Pa blows out his candles...

Adri's turn to blow out the candles...

Sam takes a try at the candles.  Can you imagine if there were 57 singles on there that little man had to blow out?

The best picture I could get of the three of them with all of them looking...

P-Pa's laughter pretty much sums up the day.  FUN!

After dinner the kids ventured outside to play.  They found the hose.  Needless to say, they made the area around the swing set a huge mud pit.  It was pure heaven for the both of them.

And, a little photography practice.  :)

Matt took this one.  :)

And this one!

The end...Sam gets hosed off like a doggy.  :)
