Later that evening we had a play date at the Children's Museum. Both Adri and Sammy had the greatest time playing. By the time we got home they were ready to go to bed with zero complaints. :)

I think Adri's trying to copy me here and shop as fast as possible...Apparently she has a lot of experience shopping since she told Boo Boo that "we go shopping to Meijer everyday for groceries." So not true, we go like every other day or so.

Today I walked into the living room to find Sammy investigating his horse. He then decided to stand on the seat and hold on to the handles to try to rock it. This little boy is going to end up giving me a heart attack with his antics, I swear! After taking him off of the horse and sitting him on the floor next to it, he decided to try it again, the correct way this time.

Sammy found a gift that a friend brought over for Adri today. He somehow got it off the table in the kitchen and slid all over the floor until she woke up and saw what he was doing. Adri wasn't interested in gifts or cake at this age...Sam is going to have SO much fun at his birthday in a few weeks!!!

Tomorrow we're having Adri's 3rd Birthday party. I spent all of tonight cleaning and decorating in preparation for the festivities. I honestly can't wait to see her blow out her candles and the excitement on her face when everyone comes over to celebrate her birthday. It's so exciting to see her enjoy these little things she wasn't quite able to understand last year.
When Adri walked in and saw the house and decorations she got all excited and said to me:
"My decorations are fantastic Mama!" and "The house is so cool! It's so cool that you cleaned the house a lot." :)
