Happy July 4th!!!

I have started posting less in an attempt to A.) keep the posts down so I can order blog books and B.) in an effort to start getting ready for the upcoming school year when I will undoubtedly be unable to post as much as I do now.

That being said, we want to wish everyone a very Happy and safe July 4th!

Over the past few days we've stayed busy spending time with our families. Today we plan to attend the parade in Cascade (our 2nd annual--does that make it the beginning of a yearly tradition?) go to a friend's bbq, and then on to the fireworks downtown! It should be an interesting day, to say the least, with the kids staying up so late tonight.

Here are a few pictures from the last two days...

I just knew that if I spilled the chips all over the ground that the girls would join me in eating them...Mwah ha ha ha ha!

Oh! Caught! Uh, Mom...Yeah. Um...Lilah told me to do it! I couldn't say no, she's older than me!

And now we smash them, we smash them, we smash them...I like the way they feel on my hands when they're all squished up!

What???!!! They're all gone? All gone as in no more?

Boo! I shouldn't have wasted them! We never get chips at home!

My Mommy...otherwise known as Boo Boo to the kids, in a rare photo. She never lets me take her photo!

Adri and her buddy Lilah, who she's known since she was born. I think I even have pictures of Lilah holding Adri after she was born.

What better representation of this holiday than Joe Kuhlman's flag from WWII? Thank you to our brave servicemen for all that you do to preserve our freedom and rights.

Adri and Nick talk about how cool she is... :)

Matt's cousin Nick is AWESOME! He even gets down on he floor to play with the kids! Adri can't wait to go places when she hears that Nick will be there. :)

This beautiful dragonfly perched in front of me while I was taking pictures. He actually stayed for a long time!
