Is there anything better than cuddle time?

Sammy cuddled with me today! It was just a brief moment, until he realized what he was doing, but he cuddled! I picked him up after his nap and he cuddled right into my chest, with his sweet little toddler head under my chin. I treasured that fleeting moment and tried to hold on to it longer by sitting down in the rocking chair to rock him. It was a no go and he was off and on his way, deciding to play with his toys instead.

I wonder if he'll ever like cuddling again like he used to when he was a baby? I miss those days.

As I write this Sam is standing on his chair and making a little "ehheeh" noise to get my attention. When I look over at him he gives me the grin that melts my heart. I love it when he does those kinds of things just to make sure I'm paying attention.

Here's one of his new tricks that left me saying "Really Sam?" this morning. He decided that there was something in the cupboard that he just had to have. This cupboard has been cleared out for at least a month, since he opened it last by literally tearing it off it's hinges to get at a bowl. I don't know that I've ever met a more curious child...
