Today Adri woke up and said her stomach hurt and that she needed to go to the bathroom. I told her she had a diaper on (yup...I've given up on forcing the potty training--it's just become a headache and fight for power for Adri and I.) and that she could just go in that. She's been holding it for the past couple of days, so I'm thinking she really needs to go at this point. She told me that she couldn't go in her diaper because it wouldn't feel good. :)
Adri then said she was going to try to go on her potty and attempted the task. She went tinkle, but not poo poo. But she tried!!! Afterward she pulled off her diaper, saying "I can't wear diapers, I have to put on big girl underwear"!!! I'm hoping that this means we are turning the corner with potty training and she's choosing to just potty train herself. We will see what the day brings today.
