At 5 am we woke up to Adri screaming and vomiting again. Another round of changed sheets and blankets and "Stinky" back in the washer and we finally got her back to sleep, in our bed. Matt decided to go into work early at this point, since he wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep. (The positive was that he was home by 3:15 pm today!!!) Adri has been feeling fine the rest of the day, although she complained a couple of times of her head hurting and asked for medicine. I think she was more in need of Mommy attention and cuddling though. (She came into her bedroom where I was putting her clothes away and said "I just want to be with my Mama" and actually spent a good part of the day cuddling with me.) She hasn't gotten sick since this morning and seems to be all better now.
Sammy's top front tooth has began poking through. Planning to take some pics tomorrow. Poor kid hasn't had a break from these teeth coming in in what seems like forever now! (I write this as he's waking up for the third time since he went down, screaming because of his teeth.) On another note, he has his next helmet appointment in a week. I'm thinking it might be his last? I think I'm actually kind of hoping that it is. The longer he's in it the more I'm missing snuggling against his sweet little baby hair.
Adri-isms:
While taking a bath today:
Adri: Ahhh! Ahhh! I did get soap in my eye! It hurts Mama, it hurts!
Me: Adri, this is the kind of shampoo that doesn't hurt your eyes.
Adri: Oh? Ok, then. I am fine now.
Adri: Mama, you're my baby?
Me: Yes Adri, I'm your baby and you're my baby too.
Adri: I will be your baby forever and ever Mama.
Me: I hope so! I will love you and Sammy forever and ever and ever.
Adri: I will love you forever too, because you're my Mommy.
During lunch:
Me: Adri, do you want trail mix?
Adri: No. Actually, I just want pistachios. Can I have pistachios Mama?
While grabbing her hangers away from Sammy:
Adri: You can't have these Sammy.
Me: Adri, it's fine. He can play with those.
Adri: Oh? Then they are not dangerous for Sam?
Me: Nope, he can play with them.
Adri: Here you go Sammy, you can play with them now.
Adri: Mommy! I'm going to clean up all these toys for YOU!
Me: Oh, Adri! Really? That is so nice of you!
Adri: That would make you so happy?
Me: It would! You are such an awesome daughter!
Adri: I am an awesome kid? I'm awesome!
Sammy-isms:
Uh oh! Uh oh! Mamamamamma Dadadadadada
Giggling while he's coming at me with an open mouth, drool coming out, to give me a huge smooch.
Grabbing my hands and putting them on his tummy to get me to tickle him some more.

Toast still in mouth, wondering why his sister is being so nice at that moment:
