Adri (At story time today when a little girl was looking at Sammy): You can't look at my brother that way! As she's pushing the girl's face the other way.
Adri: Can Sam have a bite of my candy?
Me: No
Adri: Why do you always say no all the time?
Adri (while riding her horse like a maniac): Mama! The windows are dirty!
Me: Ok
Adri: You need to clean the house! (Because the windows aren't dirty because she's been pressing her face and hands against them, right?)
Me: Adri, you're a smart cookie!
Adri: I'm not a cookie, I'm just a girl. A little girl!
This is my attempt to chronicle our family's daily adventures, love, and struggles.
It is my hope that one day Adri and Sammy will read these stories of their childhood and remember the love, happiness, and adoration that was poured into it each and every day. The two of them are the sunshine in my day and the happiness that has completed my life.
too cute! I don't think I have written down anything the kids have said the last several years. As they get older it isn't as funny anymore.
