Adri on the loose!

Yesterday evening we had a diaper episode with Adri. She decided after she pooped (in her diaper of course) to take it off (after I told her to wait so I could do it). The poop of course came out on the floor and I freaked out. Well, I ended up yelling at her and then felt HORRIBLE about it in the end when she went downstairs and drew a picture of me angry.

I ended up bringing her to Meijer with me because I felt so bad. As we were shopping Adri was in a jolly mood, a VERY good mood. Some might even call it maniac mode mood. :) She kicked off her boots every time I tried to put them back on, loosing them all over the store until I finally just took them off and put them in the cart. She was laughing hysterically (about what, I don't know) and grabbing me to kiss me. She then started asking if every guy that walked past us was her Daddy. (Yup--EMBARRASSING!)

By the time we were near the end of our shopping trip she started shaking her head back and forth with her eyes closed screaming "I can't see you, I can't see anything!" She continued this behavior for about five minutes before she started screaming that she didn't feel good. Her face was all flushed and she looked dizzy. :) From our last vomit experience with Adri at Meijer I knew enough to hurry and get her out of the cart in case she decided to get sick. She threw herself on the floor and started screaming that she didn't feel well. After laying on the floor for a couple of minutes with everyone watching (and me trying to get her boots back on), she cried until I carried her to the checkout lane, where she proceeded to scream, cry, and whine the entire checkout process. Everyone in the store had to have heard her, she was that loud.

When we got home Adri was all better and ready to play three games of memory. (funny how that works, huh?).

At this moment she is bringing out her Schleich horses and asking me about their hoo hoos and pee pees and why they're so big. Ahhh...The inquisitiveness of two year olds. (And darn Schleich! Why do they have to be so anatomically correct!?)

Today is haircut day! We're going to pay a visit to Snip It's so Adri can scream and cry while the stylist cuts her hair. Can't wait!
