Uneventful weekend...

I was going to try the blogging every day thing. Obviously that's not happening since I can't even remember the last day I did blog. :)

Our weekend has been pretty uneventful. A crazy trip to Costco with the rest of Grand Rapids yesterday and then a trip to the mall today so Adri could play on the breakfast foods at Woodland. Matt and I attempted to watch a movie tonight. Adri and Sam had other plans when they decided to stay up way past their bedtimes. I don't know when Adri has slept this weekend; she went to bed at around 11 last night, woke up at 6 and hasn't napped all day. She didn't fall asleep tonight until around 10. Her bedtime is 7:30/8 on a normal day.

Here's a pic of what an almost 3 year old does to her room when you force her to stay in it:

When asked why she messed her room up she shrugged her shoulders and said "It's not a big deal". Uggggh. Pretty scary when your 2 year old puts you in check and is right. :)

Now that Sam Man is crawling, he has decided that is no longer good enough. He's been trying his hardest to stand up and is now using anything that will hold his weight to help him. I'm thinking it won't be long until he's walking, running, and chasing his sister (and causing all kinds of other trouble!). Adri is seriously going to be so sorry for anything mean she has ever done to him.

Electrical cords have become his very favorite thing to chew on, aside from anything he might find that he's not supposed to have. We are now unplugging the light in the living room when he's awake, just to keep him away from it. The word no just doesn't seem to be an option for him.

Tomorrow I begin two more Master's classes. I will now be in class every Monday from 6-9 (which will be great because I will get to mingle with adults for a little bit!), but it is going to be quite the adventure for Matt. If I could videotape bedtime tomorrow night, I would. :) I'm thinking I probably shouldn't bother cleaning Adri's room tomorrow since she'll most likely just tear it apart again tomorrow night.

Here are a few pictures from today:
