Happy 2011!

Welcome to 2011 and Happy New Year! 2010 has been a wonderful year for our family and we're looking forward to seeing what 2011 will bring.

Tomorrow we will return to our normal schedule, if I have my way. (If Adri has hers, it might be a different story though.) We will be waking up with Daddy, getting ready when he leaves, and then trying to find something fun to do with the day, (hopefully in the form of play dates) or running errands.

Our past few days have been filled with late nights, mornings and no naps, which is never a good thing around our house. Both Sam Man and Adri become grouchy bears and are inconsolable (they were both so out of control tonight that they gladly wen to bed at 7 pm!). So, a routine will be welcome around here.

Today Adri picked out a new sled to replace her old toddler sled (which Sam Man will now acquire). I was really trying to push the purple one, (I LOVE the color purple!) but she just had to have the orange one. Once she picked it out she decided she then needed to sit in it in the middle of the aisle, just to try it out. After talking her out of trying it in the store, she insisted on pulling it, by the rope, throughout Meijer, until we finally picked it up and stuffed it into the cart (which she insisted wouldn't fit the sled because the sled was too big--but, where there's a will there's a way!). We have yet to try the sled out since it was FREEZING today and I couldn't wait to get inside to warm up my cold toes.

I think we'll try it out tomorrow when Daddy gets home and then come inside for chili and hot cocoa. Pictures to come! :)

In the meantime, here are a few pictures from New Years at the Wells'.
