A cereal bath...

Adri decided to give us an interesting and messy start to our day...

She was having lucky charms for breakfast along with a banana when she got the creative idea to first have three of her toy dogs walk through the banana. After they that just had to take a bath in her bowl full of lucky charms and milk, I mean, duh...What else would they do after getting messy from walking through the banana?

I swear I stepped out of the kitchen for all of two minutes to come back and find flattened banana spread all over the table along with milk and cereal everywhere, including a trail of milk into the bathroom from her animals dripping as she brought them in there.

"Adri! What did you do??!!! What happened in here?"

"Well, my animals were dirty from walking on the banana. So they decided to take a bath in the cereal. I told them not to but their listening ears weren't working."

Rolling my eyes and trying to hide a smile "Ugggh. So what are you doing now?"

"My animals are dirty now. They need a bath. I'm washing them in the sink."

Running in the bathroom because Adri washing something usually means water everywhere. "Adri! There's water everywhere and the sink is about to overflow!!! No! No! Turn off the water! Drain the sink! No more playing in the water."

"But Mom! They aren't done having a bath."

"Oh yes they are!" I drain the sink and begin cleaning up the water.

Shortly after completing the cleaning, I look up to see that Adri has opened the back door and let her brother out to play on the back porch where he's steady banging on the screens in the windows...Her response to why she let him out?

"He wanted to see if it was still warm outside."

She has already spent a lot of time in her room this morning and just got sent back in for mouthing back and pushing Sam...I'm thinking that today is going to be a LONG day...Thank goodness it will be nap time soon. :)
