I was sitting across from him on the floor after we had finished all the dinner and cupcake hoopla when he suddenly stood up, picked up his right foot and took a step! After realizing what he had done he immediately fell back to the ground before standing back up and clapping for himself. I was so excited and amazed I wanted to cry. He did it!!! I am so, so, so proud of him! He went on to try out his new found freedom two more times after this before he was too tired to impress anymore.
Sam Man also showed me a new skill I haven't before seen, (but apparently Matt has and forgot to mention it...Good thing I'm the record keeper/blog writer or we'd have nothing in terms of milestone dates!) the stand up and bust a move. One of his toys started singing a song and he stood up and began dancing! When I clapped and shouted "Yay!" he added some clapping to his dance...Geesh! Just yesterday I was wondering if he was going to hit any of his milestones and overnight he started doing everything!
