Library Sunday...

I spent the day at the library today, AGAIN. My two grad classes are coming to an end in a couple of weeks and I am completely bogged down with course work as well as the anxiety of having things looming over me. I can get through this, I know I will.

My main problem is that I can't stand not having everything done and also that my personal goal in all of my Master's classes is an A. I'm sure that this goal is achievable, but it requires a lot of work and dedication. I can do the work, I'm just not sure on the dedication part 100% of the time. Whenever I'm away from the kids my heart and thoughts are always with them and what they're doing instead of on my work. I hate being away from them.

I completed a good chunk of work today, but I still have a lot to do. I will be at the library every night this week if need be. I want everything done and out of the way before the end of the semester so that I can go back to just playing with the kids and having that be my only responsibility. :)

I came home tonight just in time to see Matt and the kids playing outdoors in the freezing cold. BRRRR! Adri came running up to the car as I was getting out screaming "Mommy, Mommy!". I always know she missed me when she can't wait for me to walk over to her before throwing herself at me to give me a hug. :) Sam Man was sitting on the sandbox babbling at me, likely telling me stories of everything Adri had done to him while I was gone.

Here Sammy, I'll just give you a little push...You are so lucky I'm here to help!

Who are you calling a little monkey?

Uh oh...Adri's figured out that she's not the center of attention...
From Spring2011

Can't have that! Adri's ALWAYS center of attention!

ALWAYS!

Add this to the "things Adri never thought of doing until she saw Sammy doing them" list...

I like broccoli! Does that make me healthy?
From Spring2011

No? Meh, well, then...Maybe it's not so great...

Do you like see-food??? :)
From Spring2011

If Sammy can be healthy then so can I! I'll eat broccoli too!

Here Daddy, I'm done. Want some?
From Spring2011

Daddy doesn't want it...Good thing you like broccoli now Adri. I'll share with you!

Touching moment of the day...Matt told Adri a story about his Grandma Van Dyke and how she made him "ants on a log" all the time when he was younger. Adri was so excited to try it, until she saw that it wasn't REAL ants crawling on a log. :)

Where are the ants Daddy???

Adri-ism of the day:
"I'm growing fast. Look at my legs, they are getting really long!"
"Mommy, are you just a little stressed right now?"

Sam Man-ism of the day:
"Go Go!" as he pushes his rocket down the hallway.

Quote of the day:
