Hello Paci Fairy! (Aka...Mommy) and other randomness...

It's now been two days and nights without Adri's beloved paci. I must say, it is going so much easier than I anticipated. She's begged and cried for it a few times, but for the most part she's been quite content telling everyone what a big girl she now is and that she "doesn't use a paci because only babies use a paci." (Emphasis on the word babies) As she's informing people of this new stage in her life, she also lets them know that "I'm a big girl because I only go pee and poop on the potty. Only babies like Sam go poop in their pants and use a pacifier." Apparently for a three year old the success of getting rid of your paci equates to the same excitement as going to the bathroom on the potty and wearing underwear. I can see the logic, although to some the conversation might seem a little random...They're both successes though, so we'll take them! :)

The "Paci Fairy" visited our house on Sunday night, leaving Adri a present in exchange for her pacifiers. (Which have really been hid up in a closet where we "assume" she won't find them. The child is extremely gifted when it comes to climbing (among other things), so nothing would surprise me with her.)

Oh yes! I see the two horses now Mommy!

But, I want you to take it off...Apparently you over estimated this three year old and her love for jewelry. I'm just not ready for necklaces...You can put it in my jewelry box. Maybe next year I'll wear it. :)

Sammy and Adri wouldn't take a nap today while Nana was here...The result was two very grouchy children for the rest of the night...

Sorry Nana, this is what you get when I don't sleep. I turn into a bear! It's a good thing you'll love me forever and always Nana.

Sammy's new love, horses. He loves to ride/stand on this one and also be placed on Adri's horse and bounced.

Soon I will be taller than this tree Daddy planted when I was born.

Ha, Ha! You can't catch me! I'm fast as fast can be!

Those beautiful flowers growing outdoors? Quickly picked after Adri saw that I was taking photos of them. They opened up after being indoors for a bit, so I thought I would take some pictures of them open.
