This is my third year being a Mommy and it still doesn't seem real some days. There are times when I hear Adri calling "Mommy, Mommy!" and I have to pause a second to realize that yes, she is in fact, speaking to me. It's just so surreal to think that it wasn't long ago and I was still young, in high school and then on to college. I had no vision of who my children would be and could never have possibly imagined my life as it is today. I am so thankful to be so extremely blessed with my husband and two beautiful children. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have them all in my life.
We enjoyed this beautiful Mother's Day by going over to Boo Boo's and celebrating with them and then going over to Aunt Shannon's to celebrate with Matt's side of the family. I'd love to say that it was a nice, relaxing day, but I don't know if you actually get one of those until your children are over the age of 10. :) It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed every minute of spending it with my family and then with our mother's.
Of course, no day would be complete without Sammer's getting a bloody lip and Adri having many huge meltdowns due to the fact that she hadn't napped. :) That's just a day in the life, I suppose.
Papa made a house for the kids today...
I'm not scared Adri, I'll check and see if anyone's home.
If Sam isn't a younger version of his Papa, I don't know what he is...

Adri decided to literally throw Sam out of her house. I caught this mid throw...Poor Sammy! Just wait Adri, you're going to get yours and it's coming quick!

I think Sammy would really like to put the ad on his shirt on Craigslist. I don't think he'd get much for her today though...
