No means no!

With Blogger's maintenance yesterday I seem to be missing a post (or maybe more?) about Sammy and his screaming tendencies. Darn! I really wanted to make sure to remember how his scream is so high pitched it hurts my ears and to be able to go back and read it in a few months.

Well, along with his velociraptor tendencies, he's picked up a few other quirks since turning one. He can now say up-si-daisy, go go go, adri, and peek a boo. The little boy is a chatting machine! It's funny because whenever I say something to him he always tries to repeat what I've said.

Sammy's other new habit is dancing! I'm not sure where he gets his moves from (unless Adri's teaching him), but he's got rhythm! My favorite is to watch him bust a move when there's no music (but whatever he's hearing in his head) and he's shakes his little booty. Another favorite is when we're in the car and he starts bopping his head along with the music.

One other thing Sammy has learned is what the word "no" means and he doesn't like it! When I tell him no he looks at me like he's trying to size me up then he attempts the offense again, just to make sure I meant no. When I tell him no once more he begins crying. No is definitely not one of his favorite words!

Fun times in the sandbox!

Wait...I don't think I heard you right Mom. Did you just tell ME no?

You're the meanest Mommy ever! I never get to do anything I want to do!

You have to look at me when I'm throwing a fit! Why aren't you watching me?
