We went over to a couple of our neighbors houses to ask if they had seen Pig Pen, which neither of them had. Adri began crying when she asked them if they had seen her bunny. I know I said we wouldn't be getting another bunny, but the amount of sadness that she's feeling leaves me wondering if we should? It's pretty heart breaking to hear her wondering where he is and when he'll come home and discussing how much she loves him.
Our fun filled day included plenty of outdoor time the entire day. We were only indoors for a nap today, which both of the kids loved since they love the great outdoors.
We spent our day at the Gardens with our friends Jess and Brie playing in the sandbox and then the water table (you wouldn't believe how many hours the kids can stay there just doing those two activities!), and then came home for a nap before we walked over to Boo Boo's and P-Pa's tonight. The weather was absolutely perfect for being outdoors today, thank goodness!
Rolling, rolling, rolling down the hill like the big girls...

Don't even think about it Adri...You saw what happened to the last girl that tried to take something away from me...

Sammers testing out his walking skills in the sandbox. Note the look of pure joy on his face at his new found walking abilities.

Crash! The boats crashed into each other! Call the ambulance to bring band aids Mama!

Fun at the freezing cold water table...

Seriously, do little kids not notice how cold water is? Add the cold water to air temps and being soaked...Sammy actually screamed when I forced him to get away from the water because he was soaked and we needed to leave. His skin was freezing!

If only my arm was a little longer, I could reach the water spout!

Hmmm...This isn't so deep. I'm totally getting in here this summer. Just try and stop me!

I've come to the conclusion that when Adri sticks out her tongue to complete an activity that is must actually help in some way...That and it's hereditary. Her Mommy does the same thing when she's deep in concentration!

Adri-ism of the day:
As we were walking to Boo Boo's:
Adri: Mommy? Is Daddy safe?
Me: What do you mean safe, Adri?
Adri: Is he going to be ok?
Me: Of course, why do you ask? He's just working on a couple of things around the house while we're not there.
Adri: Is he safe from monsters? No monsters will get him, will they?
Me: Nope...There's no monsters at our house. You don't have to worry about Daddy, baby. He'll be fine.
Adri: Good, because I love my Daddy...Way, Way, Way up to the sky! That's a lot of love Mommy, isn't it?
